03 · The industry view
How industry builds ADAS.
The workflow automotive R&D teams follow, on your rover.
- 01 Requirements Write down what the feature must do, and when it must act.
- 02 Model Describe the behaviour in MATLAB / Simulink first.
- 03 Code Turn the model into software that runs on the rover’s Jetson Orin.
- 04 Test Run it in simulation, then on the bench.
- 05 Validate Drive it on the rover and check it against the requirement.

Where careers happen
- OEMs Vehicle makers turning software-first.
- Tier-1 suppliers The companies that build ADAS systems for them.
- Startups Small teams shipping autonomy fast.
Every stream has a seat
- Computer Science Perception and AI.
- Embedded / E&TC ECUs and CAN bus.
- Electrical Motor and actuation control.
04 · Why this workshop
Hardware, tools and a method you can reuse.
- A real rover, not slides. Every concept runs live on hardware in front of you, with a Jetson Orin on board.
- One integrated build. Sensors, perception, fusion and control come together as a single project, not a string of separate lectures.
- The industry workflow. Requirements to validation, the way automotive R&D teams work.
- Taught by a team that builds it. BharatNex builds ADAS and V2X technology, and its student team won the overall title at SAE India aBaja in 2024 and 2025.
Small enough to hold. Capable enough to drive on your code.

08 · FAQ
Questions about the workshop.
What is the BharatNex ADAS Training and Workshop?
It is a hands-on ADAS training programme for future engineers, run by BharatNex. You work through one project in order, from sensors and perception to ROS 2, control, AEB and LKA, on a real rover with a Jetson Orin on board, and finish with a live demo.
What will I learn in the ADAS workshop?
Seven modules: ADAS and industry levels; sensors and embedded systems (camera, IMU, CAN); perception with computer vision and deep learning; ROS 2 and sensor fusion; planning and control (PID, Stanley, simulation in MATLAB / Simulink); AEB and LKA tuned live on the rover; and a demo with career guidance.
Who can join?
The workshop is open to engineering students and to SAE and robotics clubs, across CS and AI/ML, E&TC / ECE, Electrical, Mechanical and Automotive, and Mechatronics. Students, colleges and clubs can all request a quotation through the form on this page.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. Participants receive a BharatNex certificate for completing the workshop, and join the BharatNex network and tech creators community. You also get a resume review focused on your rover project.
Which hardware and tools are used?
A BharatNex rover with a Jetson Orin on board, real sensors and a real CAN bus, plus ROS 2 and MATLAB / Simulink. You train a model and run it on the rover's Jetson Orin, not only on a laptop. BharatNex presents the workshop in collaboration with MathWorks.
Why train on a real rover and not only in simulation?
Simulation comes first: you model and simulate a feature in MATLAB / Simulink. Then the same logic runs on real sensors, a real bus and a real vehicle platform, which is the requirement-to-validation workflow automotive R&D teams use. The rover is small enough to hold and capable enough to drive on your code.
Can a college or club host the ADAS workshop on campus?
Yes. BharatNex can bring the workshop to your campus. Fill in the quotation form with your institute, your stream, your numbers and the dates you have in mind, and BharatNex sends a complete quotation.
How much does it cost and how long does it run?
BharatNex sends a quotation for each request instead of listing one price, because the schedule and fee depend on your stream, the number of students and the dates you want. Use the quotation form on this page, or write to [email protected].
